DRAWING ENTITY

DRAWING ENTITY

DRAWING ENTITY

(OP)
I AM DOING THE ASSEMBLY DRAWING.
HOW AND WHAT CAN YOU ADD ON THE DRAWING THAT YOU CAN SHOW DUAL DIMENSION (INCH/MM). I SKETCH ENTITIES BUT IT ONLY GIVE SINGLE DIMENSION?
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

RE: DRAWING ENTITY

Age1,

If this is a Metric drawing then go to STANDARDS > MODEL and set the scale
to 25.4. Then change the DIMS2 to an Inch dimension. Next -- add the dims.

Sorry I can't help better with the exact steps, but I'm at home --- between jobs.

RE: DRAWING ENTITY

(OP)
I DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEM DOING THE DUAL DIMENSION ON THE ASSY DRAWING.
MY PROBLEM IS ADDING ENTITIES ON THE DRAWING MODE WHERE YOU CAN ALSO APPLY DUAL DIMENSION TO THESE ENTITIES.
AND ALSO, HOW CAN YOU SHOW A LINE THAT IS OFFSET TO THE EXISTING EDGE OF THE PART?

RE: DRAWING ENTITY

Are we talking V4 or V5?

RE: DRAWING ENTITY

Is this V4 or V5?

RE: DRAWING ENTITY

After you dimension the part, go to, dimen2, modify, go to pull down menu aplly to all dimension , set to dual.

I hope this is what you need,
