RE: To jraef' what does it mean

I came up with that after using some other latin phrases in my sig line and getting frustrated at seeing how many people were accepting marketing claims as truth. I must admit however that it is somewhat of a stretch of "real" latin. I don't think Romans would not have known of the concept of "snake oil" per se, since it came about during the wild-west days in the US. For those in other countries, "Snake Oil salesmen" is a term derived from traveling peddlers claiming to be doctors who sold miracle cures throughout the rural US in the mid to late 1800's, often purported to contain unusual ingredients such as snake oil or some exotic root extract, but really just alcohol or cocaine. It never really cured anyone, but they felt better for a while!
