Defining Longitude and Latitude Angles

Defining Longitude and Latitude Angles

Defining Longitude and Latitude Angles

(OP)
Can someone guide me how to define the longitude and latitude angles to a line in a 3D sketch.

RE: Defining Longitude and Latitude Angles

Use planes and dimensions.

Relations may also come in very handy depending on what you are doing.

A mixture of both is the best way.

RE: Defining Longitude and Latitude Angles

Can you define your question better?  Are you using the 3D Sketch tool?

If so, you can use the Tab button to change which planes you are sketching on, and add dimensions for angels as required.

RE: Defining Longitude and Latitude Angles

Selecting your tab adjusts the XY, YX, ZY, ZX option while making your 3dSketch. If that's not what your looking for, then offset planes as needed first. Then when using lines in your 3DSketch you can make collinear relationships to them. With a spline you can only add Coincident relationships between the points.
