How to fix "loss of communication with License Daemon" in I-Deas 10

(OP)
After Installing and setting up all of the variable files in I-Deas 10 (running in Windows 2000 SP4), I get an error message:
"Detected loss of communication with I-DEAS license daemon. Contact your system administrator.
OK - Retry, Cancel - Exit without save.
Messages logged in error1232.out
Press any key to continue . . ."

How to solve this problem?

After running LMTOOLS I get an error message in Server Status "FLEXnet Licensing error:-97,121" and "FLEXnet Licensing error:-5,222" for other features installed.
In Server Diags I get "FLEXnet Licensing error:-97,121" for all the features that are installed.

Can somebody please help me on this one....

Thx

Hi,

Just a thought...did you try to restart your FlexLM license server under the Control Panel?
