What kind of coating system is better for the steel pipe interior painting? The pipe is under the DAM about 100 ft and the water resource is protected.

Thanks a lot for your help.

RE: Coating for pipe interior

Cement-lined carbon steel pipe is used in many applications.  The cement protects the ID far better than most paints.  What dia. pipe is involved?

Thanks for your reply Metalguy. The pipe is old smooth  steel pipe and the dia. is 48". No saltwater.

RE: Coating for pipe interior

Here is a good source of information on underground piping remediation.
I had a lot of information on the in place lining and relining of pipe, but unfortunately gave it away.   We had about 400'of 30 "  cement lined DI pipe reworked in place under a  building.
