What can I use to regulate fuel temperature?

What can I use to regulate fuel temperature?

(OP)
I am needing to regulate fuel temperature on one of our processes.  Our fuel supply is in a tank which is placed outside, and we are needing to use the fuel at 72 degrees F.  What types of devices would you recommend?

What is the condition of the incoming fuel? Is it too cold all the time, is it too hot all the time or is it sometimes hot sometimes cold? What is your tolerance on the temperature +/- 1 or 10 or 30 degrees.

The simplified answer is you need a heat exchanger and either a heat source or a heat sink.
Compressed air (normally hot gas)is cooled using air to air heat exchangers or air to water heat exchangers or refigerated heat exchangers.

RE: What can I use to regulate fuel temperature?

I is standard auxillary equipment for medium-density oil tanks: steam heater placed on the bottom third of the tank. Pipe registry of the heater generally extends through most of tank footage. I am not familiar with other solutions: flow-through heater could be dangerous because of high temperature and heat density that could cause fire danger
