CLEANROOM SPECIFICATIONS
CLEANROOM SPECIFICATIONS
(OP)
Hello, we currently have a room we call the cleanroom in which we assemble valves for O2 service. Recently the room was flooded when someone left the DI Water supply valve open. Now the flooring is comming up and there is no way I can believe that the room meets specs for a 'clean room'. Does any one know where I can find these specs.
Thanks,

RE: CLEANROOM SPECIFICATIONS
"Airborne Particulate Cleanliness Classes in Cleanrooms and Clean Zones"
Try doing a websearch for this standard or the Institute of Environmental Sciences. At one time I had it as a .pdf but it did not get transferred over when I received a newer PC.

Now you have to check the ISO 14644 series for cleanrooms.
Do you have an epoxy flooring? This will generally bulge up when water goes below the flooring. I have seen cases where even vapor permeation through walls caused damage to the flooring.
What is your area classification? Are you checking particulate matter frequently? Do you find any openings in the flooring?
