Progress bar in VBA

Progress bar in VBA

(OP)

I've spent the last three hours trying to figure out how to get a progress bar while updating the sheets of a drawing and I can't find a word about it, neither in CATIA VBA nor in VBA documentation. Any ideas?

Regards
Ola

RE: Progress bar in VBA

Hi Ola,

Open the VBA editor with a CATIA project already started.  Create a new UserForm in the Project Explorer, and with the form open, right click the Control toolbox and Additional Controls.  On the list, find Microsoft ProgressBar Control, and check it, then OK.

Then, the new control will appear on the Control toolbox, so you can put it on the UserForm.  Then, from whichever module the CATmain() for the Macro is located, just load and show the form and you'll have a progress bar to play with.

HTH,
Rob.
