Stubborn sketcher dimensions

Stubborn sketcher dimensions

Stubborn sketcher dimensions

(OP)
We are using 2001.
We are noticing that sometimes when in sketcher modifying a dimension to a whole number sketcher will regenrate and display the dimension in funny number; eg. say the dim was 1.00 this will be displayed as 0.99999995.
I have tried different methods, it works fine when deliberately I chose the edge to dimension to rather than the surface.
Does anyone have this problem?

RE: Stubborn sketcher dimensions

Yes, I sometimes have the same problem. Since our manufacturing cannot hold a tolerance of .00000001", I don't let it bother me anymore. (Yes, at one time I tried to figure out why it was rounding it that way, but to no avail.) If you do find the answer, let me know.
