Steel Beam To Beam Connections

Steel Beam To Beam Connections

Steel Beam To Beam Connections

(OP)
I am looking for a book or a software program that will tell me what size angle clip, No. of bolts etc... for any conections.  Example.  I have a W12x22 into a W14x26.  What is the size of angle and how many bolts do I need.

Please advise ASAP

Thanks

Todd Burke

RE: Steel Beam To Beam Connections

Todd:  AISC provides numerous connection design tables in their steel manual.  Check out www.aisc.org to order it...or check with a structural engineer to assist in sizing the connections.  You need to properly determine the connection loads prior to sizing the connection.

RE: Steel Beam To Beam Connections

For the spanish practice this is well covered in similar manner in the Ensidesa manual, which has had several editions.
