Does anyone knows something concerning fluoropolymers made HX?

We have several made by AMETEK.  They are teflon tubing.  The tubes are either 3/8 or 1/2"   They are shell and tube exchangers.  The big draw back is that the heat transfer is poor.  The temperatures are limited.  The tubes will also collapse if you put them under full vacuum.   We have been slowly replacing all of ours with hastelloy C-276 exchangers.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Stonecold,

By the way, have you heard about a company called "VIATEC" that could produce this kind of HX.
