Gantt Chart, Save as html, wrong sort!

I am using MS Project 2000, Problem is that I can't seem to "Save as webpage" and retain my current sort in gantt char screen(by finish date), it reverts the report back to alphabethical based on task name. Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE: Gantt Chart, Save as html, wrong sort!

I can't find your problem. Every time I change my sort it's not a problem to show the new list as webpage. Do you use a special filter?

Thanks StephanHH:

I was able to figure it out. basically I had to format the "finish date" colum and check the "premanently renumber task" check box and that did the trick for me. I am however considering a switch to PHPProjekts since it's open source and does not require the purchase of individual licenses for each of my team members to interact with our projects. Thanks for your help.
