Folks,
On occasion, when opening models on my laptop, all you get is a blank blue screen. I tried updating the graphics card, rolling back my system with System Restore to a previous date, and re-installing CATIA. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Is it specific to a type of document (CATPart, CATProduct, CATDrawing....)?
Is the problem only on the laptop (ie, can it be reproduced on a workstation?)

- hp compaq nw8000
- CATIA V5R12 sp2
- problem occurs when opening any existing file or creating a new file
- problem occurs only on my laptop, I've never seen it before

Also try renaming the CATSettings folder so CATIA starts up with default settings.
