Flat Head Rivets AN442 - Head Height

Flat Head Rivets AN442 - Head Height

(OP)
Gooday everyone.
I have a real "blast from the past" here.
Can anyone help me with the head heights for AN442-3,-4,-5 and -6 rivets. This is an old defunct standard that I cannot lay my hands on.
I am trying to arrive at some damage limits for universal head rivets which have been sanded.
Thanks all.

RE: Flat Head Rivets AN442 - Head Height

Gooday Graeme,

Old is right! This spec was cancelled in 1959!

For 3/32, head height is .038" +/-.005
For 4/32, .050" +/-.005
For 5/32, .062" +/-.005
For 6/32, .075" +/-.005

Hope that helps.

Thanks Superstress.
That fitted the bill perfectly
