Derived configurations falling over in drawings

Derived configurations falling over in drawings

(OP)

Hello all,
I have had problems when using assemblies with derived configurations. The problems seem to occur when a sub assembly also has derived configurations. Mates fall over, configurations change within the sub assembly etc. Usually a couple of forced rebuilds will fix the problem but is a hassle when the drawings fall over and you have to open everything just to that. I think its just the way these models have been created.
Was wondering if anybody else has experienced problems like this with derived configurations before.
Thanks
