(OP)
Map 2004: When using either the Express icon or the Map menu, I get a command line instead of the usual dialog box for Map/Drawing/Define-modify drawing set command (ADEDRAWING). Using "_" before the command does not modify the behavior, and using "-" before the command is not recognized by Map.  I have the option of digging through the documentation and finding it or digging through the documentation and finding that it was a waste of time.  Any time-saving help here?

RE: Map: "define/modify drawing set" dialog box: missing in action

Hi Whiskeytown,

You might want to change the CMDDIA setting on your computer. If CMDDIA is set to 0, the dialog boxes will not show up. Setting CMDDIA to 1 turns dialog boxes on.

Hope this help,
Paul
