Alright, here is the story.  I am looking to import .wmf files into autocad.  When I do the import command in autocad, it replies to me with the message:  "No translatable objects."  If any one has a helpful tip for me I would love to hear it.  This can be a great time saving tool if it is even possible to do.  Thanks for all your help

RE: I am having trouble importing .wmf into cad, can anyone help?

Well, I just tried it (taking WMF and inserting into AutoCad).  It seems to work just fine, using a .wmf generated by Acad, and inserting into either paperspace or model space.  I'm using AutoCad 2004...

What generated your source .wmf file?

Thanks for the quick reply, I am using Autocad Lt.  I wonder if that is the problem?  I will try Autocad full version and see if that works.

Yes it is a problem with LT..It does not be default handle images like the full version..Another reason Im sure to make people want/need to upgrade to the full version
