Why does my Logitech Mouse cursor move at a slower rate in SolidWorks than in other Windows programs?
Posted: 27 Jan 07 (Edited 26 Jun 07)

The Logitech driver allows the user to use a different "native" rate for games. Unfortunately, for some reason, the Logitech driver may think SolidWorks is a game.

To correct this issue in older mice, open your Mouse Properties, choose the Motion Tab and uncheck the "Disable acceleration in game" option within the "Cursor Speed and Acceleration" section.

To correct this issue in new mice within SetPoint, goto the Game side tab and deselete Enabled under "Game Detection".
